Development of facilities at Waratahs over the past 35 years has been significant, but it doesn’t stop there!
Our extensions are now in full swing, which will allow us to expand our food and function offerings. Our aim is to promote a family-friendly environment, as well as opportunities for our sporting teams to host their functions.
Ground Improvements are also continuing well, with Council contributions being widely spent. Our new fields at the southern end of the complex are complete and all have training lights.
Re-vamping of parking areas and construction of an amenities block in this area is a priority.
Levelling of land at our northern boundary and development of more multi-purpose fields is among our longer-term plans.
Tree planting and general beautification works are gaining momentum, which will further enhance the overall environmental benefits of the complex.
The Club is currently in discussions with Orange City Council to enhance the area at our southern boundary. Consideration is being given to open this area up as a wetland, with public access.
